The Act of Foraging
To Forage, defined by Mirriam-Webster’s intransitive verb form: to wander in search of forage or food.
We take that as an ethos here at HVF. To wander the rich hills and towns of the Hudson Valley (and beyond) to find all the good (and not so good) stuff and bring it to you, with character. It is a joyful undertaking for us. We hope you love it.
Also, if you are truly hungry, and wish to taste the real fruit of the Hudson Valley, FallingFruit.org has created a map that anyone can add to. It shows all the places where one can find food, just growing out in the open. Please update it with your favorite spot for picking berries, roots and other goodies that you forage on your way through this world.
